Neville had a love for the great outdoors and like many was saddened by habitat loss and species
decline. He wanted to thank BBOWT for its local work in support of his hobby, which gave him so
much happiness throughout his life.

A member tells us why her husband left a gift:

My husband loved College Lake, particularly the wild flowers there. We were both involved as
volunteers at the reserve, and he wanted to leave a gift to continue that support.

Steve C talks about what protecting wildlife through a gift means to him:

It’s good for me to know that when I’m gone this place will be here and it will be looked after.
