A journey of learning and discovery
Windsor Great Park Environmental Centre is an exciting five-year 1,700
partnership project between BBOWT and The Crown Estate.
People engaged in new activities
Our new Environmental Centre is located in a private area right at the in the natural environment to
heart of the Park, enabling visitors to experience the wonderful wildlife benefit their health
and natural heritage of this unique setting. Programmes developed to
engage children’s heads, hearts and hands are held in the indoor and
outdoor classrooms, with fantastic learning opportunities to be had in
the surrounding forest and grassland.
Programmes include sessions for primary schools, a monthly Nature 11,200
Tots pre-school group, after-school wildlife clubs and family events
during the school holidays. Schools can choose from a variety of topics Schoolchildren reached by visiting
